Your models will work just as well with the light from a 100-watt light bulb. Pick out the model you want to build, and follow the easy color-coded directions. Make a solar runabout (looks like a space-age bicycle), a solar flyer (looks like a futuristic amusement park ride), a windmill, a giant bird, or lots of other cool models.

When you’re done building, it’s time for power! Attach your motor, get some light on the solar panel, and check out your model as it “magically” moves! Watch the windmill whirl, or the bird bend over beak-first. Check out the wheels spinning on the solar runabout, and see the solar flyer swing into action. The model will keep moving until the sun hides behind a cloud, or until you take the solar panel away from the light source. But once the light is back, you’ve got a moving model again.
